Contact for personal data matters: hello@mamiqa.online · tel. +48 576 895 831 (business days).
2. When we process your data at all
The Mamiqa app has no backend and no user accounts. The information you save in it (week of pregnancy, diary, kicks, contractions, weight, mood, checklists) is stored only locally on your device and is not transferred to us. In this respect we are not the controller of your data, because we do not receive it.
We process personal data only in these situations:
- when you contact us (email, phone, complaint),
- when you browse our website — as regards technical server logs.
We do not process any data in connection with using the app — Mamiqa contains no purchases, subscriptions or accounts, so we receive no information about you from Apple.
3. Purposes, legal bases and retention periods
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR) | Retention period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Replying to a message, handling complaints and requests | First and last name (if you provide them), email address, phone number, content of the correspondence | Art. 6(1)(b) (steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest — handling reports) | Up to 3 years from the end of the matter, and no longer than until the limitation period for claims expires |
| Ensuring the security and correct operation of the website | IP address, date and time, URL, User-Agent, information about errors | Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest — security and availability of the service) | A short period, in line with the hosting provider’s log rotation |
| Handling purchases and entitlements in the app | Not applicable — the app contains no purchases or subscriptions | — | — |
| Establishing, pursuing or defending claims | Data necessary to conduct the matter | Art. 6(1)(f) | Until the limitation periods expire |
| Accounting and tax obligations (if they arise) | Data from accounting documents | Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligation) | 5 years from the end of the tax year |
4. Voluntary provision of data
Providing data is voluntary, but necessary for us to be able to reply to a message or consider a complaint. You do not have to provide us with any data in order to use the App — it works without registration.
5. Recipients and categories of recipients
- Apple Inc. — distribution of the App in the App Store (a separate controller). The App contains no purchases or subscriptions, so we do not pass Apple any payment data.
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — delivery of non-personalised advertisements (AdSense in the Web version, AdMob in the App), measurement of impressions and protection against invalid traffic; the scope of data is described in the cookie policy.
- The hosting and CDN provider — maintaining the website (a processor).
- The email provider — handling correspondence (a processor).
- Legal advisers, accountants, auditors — only to the extent necessary.
- Public authorities — only where an obligation to disclose arises from the provisions of law.
We do not sell data, we do not share it with data brokers and we do not transfer it to third parties for marketing purposes. The advertisements are non-personalised — we do not use data about pregnancy, health or diary entries for advertising profiling, and Google does not receive this information from us.
6. Transfers of data to third countries
If any of our providers processes data outside the EEA, the transfer takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR) or a decision of the European Commission finding an adequate level of protection, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can obtain a copy of the safeguards applied by writing to hello@mamiqa.online.
7. Your rights
- Right of access (Article 15 GDPR) — you can obtain information on whether and what data of yours we process, and receive a copy of it.
- Right to rectification (Article 16) — you can request that inaccurate data be corrected or incomplete data be completed.
- Right to erasure (Article 17) — you can request the erasure of data where it is no longer necessary, where you have withdrawn consent, where you have raised a successful objection or where the processing is unlawful.
- Right to restriction of processing (Article 18).
- Right to data portability (Article 20) — you will receive the data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Right to object (Article 21) — to processing based on legitimate interest; after a successful objection we will stop the processing unless there are compelling legitimate grounds.
- Right to withdraw consent (Article 7(3)) — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
- Right to lodge a complaint (Article 77) — with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
To exercise your rights, write to hello@mamiqa.online. We will reply without undue delay, at the latest within one month of receiving the request. In justified cases the period may be extended by a further two months — we will inform you of this together with the reason. Exercising your rights is free of charge; we may charge a reasonable fee only in the case of manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
8. Data in the App — a practical note
Data stored locally in the App is not known to us and we cannot delete or export it for you — we have no technical access to it. To delete it, use the clear-data option in the App settings or uninstall the App.
9. Automated decisions and profiling
We do not make decisions solely by automated means, including not applying profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
10. Data Protection Officer
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, because the conditions set out in Article 37 GDPR are not met. All data protection matters are handled directly by the controller — contact: hello@mamiqa.online.
11. Supervisory authority
President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, tel. 22 531 03 00, uodo.gov.pl.
